Our heavy duty rigid load bars, also known as trailer shoring bars are made from tough durable steel with bright zinc plating finish.
You should use rigid load bars when transporting loads in vehicles and trailers fitted with internal tracks when there is a risk of movement or goods. It is vital to make sure that any rigid load bars you’re using are secure before you set off. Failure to do so could result in damage or danger to persons or property.
Weight capacity of rigid load bars
One of the most important things to consider is the weight of the load when you’re using a rigid load bar. You’ll need to have a rough idea of how much your cargo weighs and use a suitable type and number of bars to secure it. The safe working load limit (WLL) on our steel load bars is 1000kg spread equally across bar. To safely secure a load, the combined WLL must be greater than the weight of the load itself. It’s always recommended to use bars in pairs depending on where the internal tracks are fitted.
Length of bars
The load bar needs to be long enough to reach from the face of the track on one side of the vehicle or trailer to the face of the track on the opposite side to safely secure it into the load bar cups. (Please confirm the length you require in the instructions section during the checkout process).
