Ratcheting Cargo Bar Adjustable Range 2.3m to 2.6m 600kg Capacity suitable for load containment in fixed bodied vehicles with no anchor track installed. Each ratcheting cargo bar is made from tough aluminium construction with rubber pads to grip to smooth surfaces and have a forged rack and pin tension system with safety catch.

Weight Capacity of Ratcheting Cargo Bars UK

 One of the most important things to consider is the weight of the load when you’re using a ratcheting cargo stay bar. You’ll need to have a rough idea of how much your cargo weighs and use a suitable type and number of bars to secure it. The safe working load limit (WLL) on our aluminium ratcheting cargo stay bars is 600kg spread equally across the load. Our heavy duty steel cargo stay bars have a 1000kg load limit spread equally across bar. To safely secure a load, the combined WLL must be greater than the weight of the load itself. It’s always recommended to use bars in pairs depending on where the load in located.

Length of Bars

The ratcheting cargo stay bar needs to be long enough to reach from one side of the vehicle or trailer to the opposite side or floor to ceiling to safely secure it for use. Bespoke length cargo stay bars are available upon request.
