Ratchet Strap Looped Ends
Our looped end ratchet straps, also known as loop end tie down straps, loop end cargo straps, loop end marquee straps or loop end lashing straps, are designed for securing items using existing fixings such as poles, posts and hooks as anchor points. They are available in standard 4m to 15metre lengths with 50mm wide 5000kg rated break force webbing.
You should use loop end ratchet straps when securing large items to prevent the risk of movement. It is vital to make sure that any straps you’re using are secure. Failure to do so could result in damage or danger to persons or property.
Length

Straps need to be long enough to reach from anchor point to anchor point or to at least safely secure the item to a suitable fixing. If the ratchet straps are too short they will not offer a secure fixing. Any excess strap must be securely fastened to stop it coming loose.
Weight

One of the most important things to consider is the weight of the item you’re strapping down. You need to have a rough idea of how much your item weighs and use a suitable type and number of looped end straps to secure it. The safe working load limit, or WLL, will be clearly identified on the strap. To safely secure an item, the combined WLL must be greater than the weight of the item itself. It’s always recommended to use loop end ratchet straps in pairs.
